Smiles by Payet Dentistry – Beautiful Smiles. Lifetime Care

Family, Laser, and Cosmetic Dentistry by Charlotte dentist Dr. Payet.

Want more info on LANAP, the PerioLase, and Gum Disease Treatment in North/South Carolina?

Ok, then you’re in luck!  Here is a video that will give you pretty good information about periodontal (gum) disease in general, as well as about conventional non-surgical and surgical treatment options, and then about LANAP (Laser-Assisted New Attachment Protocol).

Something very important to know: the Periolase MVP-7 dental laser, made by Millenium Dental Technologies, and for which the required training is provided by the Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry (IALD), is the ONLY dental laser available that can be used with LANAP.  DON’T BE FOOLED INTO THINKING THAT ANY OLD LASER CAN DO THIS! There are only 4 doctors in Charlotte, NC (as of today September 17th, 2009) who can offer this treatment to you, including me; make sure it’s the real deal.   Dr. Robert Gregg and Dr. Delwin McCarthy, who founded Millenium Dental and developed the Periolase and LANAP, are passionate about protecting patients from harm by dentists who don’t have the right background or understanding of lasers, which is why they patented the protocol with the FDA.  Only doctors who complete the initial 3 days of training receive a license and laser.

    • Your most welcome! I took a look at your website and noticed you haven’t added LANAP yet? If not – go for it! I had been wanting the PerioLase for FOUR YEARS because of the amazing success reported by a LOT of people whom I know. You’ll wonder why you didn’t do it a long time ago. Did you get a chance to check out Millenium’s booth at the AAP a week ago?

  3. Dear Dr. Payet,

Glad to visit your blog/website highlighting LANAP. Early this year, I attended the PerioLase training with Millenum Dental and purchased the LANAP equipment. I am totally amazed by the results on patients after using LANAP in gum surgery.

I practice in the Pittsburgh area in Pennsylvania.

    Keep up the good work!

    Thank you!

    Best Regards.

  4. Keila, that’s great to hear about your experience with the Periolase and LANAP; my experience has been much the same. I can’t wait…….only 3 more months for us to reach the 1 year mark and I can start probing my first patients and getting the FMX to compare and see how much improvement has been achieved. We’re getting 2 more patients started this coming week, too, both with pretty severe periodontal disease, then getting them started on Six-Month Braces to correct the crowding on 1, spacing on the other, to improve their smile and self-confidence at the same time the teeth get easier to clean. I really can’t wait to show the Before/After pictures in about 6-7 months – it’ll blow you away!

  5. Dr. Payet, great! Unfortunately many people are still unaware of the effectiveness of the LANAP procedure. I will send my patients who would move to NC your way.

I have also linked your website/blog to my blogroll.

Your Youtube channel is awesome as well!
